We will all soon learn our fate. I hope for everyone's sake that they get what they preferenced. I wouldn't mind if they let us go tomorrow rather than making us stay until the end of August. My fear is that those that asked for severance will instead get one of the new positions and have to stay. Maybe they think they could keep people that want to leave in an effort to save money by banking on us quitting afterwards. I really hope this is not the case but we all see just how dirty Verizon has become. Anyone else find it strange that June 23 is Hans' birthday? And that he hasn't spoke or given any written statement to us? He's a coward. He's incompetent and I would argue that he's done this intentionally based on his track record of ruining companies. He needs to be investigated imo. He literally built a 20 million dollar home in 2020 which is right around the time we all got sent to wfh.

Good luck People (I F'n HATE that V-Teamer cr-p.) I retired after 30+ yrs in March bc I couldn't stand the stress/backstabbing and pure BS they shoveled down the B2B team's throats. Since then Team Magenta has come calling and recruited me to a whole change in culture and way of doing business.
Imagine - Not waiting in line for almost 30 days for the Deal Desk to get back to you after a 1000 line customer tells you they are being wooed by a competitor (Not TMo) with significantly better pricing. I have many friends still on your side of the fence and hope you and they all make it out to a happier place and that Hans and his ilk leaders get the Justice they all deserve!

I don’t know that all will be kept until August or October, I could see the company making a move to cut tomorrow and save those wages earned. They would only do this where legally allowed. They are only required to keep individuals on longer who reside in a state with advanced notice laws
I am in GNT and heard there were some possible RIFs with our support teams. What is the story? Were people given a choice? Who was impacted BGCO, WEHD, etc?????
