How likely would it be that Verizon would keep people who's first choice was VSP?

How likely would it be that Verizon would keep people who's first choice was VSP? With E-Time showing up out of nowhere, could this be to ease the blow for some who may not get VSP if it was their first option.

I’d be surprised to see tenure be a positive in keeping a job.

E-Time is not to ease anyone, it’s to say the company money. They will be paying out a massive amount in severance. Nearly $3 million in just transition bonuses. E-Time is actually a sign that a huge number will be cut and sooner than later

The chances of them keeping people who chose to stay with CS is maybe .05%. The only thing that would keep you is tenure. I’d say you’ll see nearly as newly hired classes cut
