I agree with all of the video but some of the blame rests on MN's head too because some of the stupid ideas were his.

It's one thing to make a strategic decision to choose a specific new foundation for every new building being built going forward but it is a terrible idea to try to swap the foundation of existing skyscrapers that are perfectly functional and remain heavily used. You don't tear down and replace an entire city of perfectly functional skyscrapers just because you want to start building new ones on a new sort of foundation even if the new foundation is significantly better.

Way too much time and money wasted on stupid impractical ideas.

Sabre leadership had no vision or strategy, perhaps they wanted to be news to keep the stock price inflated.

Interesting take on what was really going on during that time when it felt like their was a lot of confusion on what and how to transition. As one who sat In many all night phone conferences to cutover to a new release, anything better was prayed for.
