Thread regarding Capital One layoffs

Next 6 months

I know mid-years are approaching fast and saw talk of potentially more layoff’s to come after Juneteenth. Will this affect any TSC front line/customer facing workers? Management told us not to worry but some of these layoffs hit close, a few members of our support team were let go which is heartbreaking because they were awesome and this was unexpected. Of course no one wants to talk about it and the ‘shoulder to lean on’ managements offering definitely isn’t a safe space. Wishing well to all impacted.

You all have to realize, “management” didn’t see this happening neither and has no idea what’s coming next. They are considered about their jobs as well.

Mid years pefrormance calibrations were done this last week at least for tech. They have already started firing employees and more to follow. They will give you a cheap necklace and railroad you with a false review in Workday. You respond back in Workday your disagreement and bluntly accuse them of wrong doing. So you don't get r@p€d by them. You got nothing to lose when dealing with sociopaths. Fight for your life.
