I read a thread where someone mentioned that the head counts under Karen has decreased by ~1700. Wondering if there's anyone who got any CONFIRMED communication regarding this layoff started ?

Honestly I don't think anyone knows for sure but upper management. The initial correspondence stated 5k eliminations within the next few weeks. From there, people have been counting numbers reporting to Karen. Otherwise, there might be some insight of an August 14 or 15 date. The thing is it's out of our control and all we can do is wait and see and update with any confirmed layoffs until then.
Why would they give a pre-warning? Isn’t that what last week’s email was? I honestly think there is an individual, or several, spreading misinformation. I have noticed a pattern in numerous responses in several of the threads.
I work at 1 CVS too and have not seen any communication about anything on Wednesday. Nor have I heard any rumors other than ones started by the comment on this page. I suspect that person is trolling.
Maybe they just have maintenance going on that day
who got the notifications that people should leave 1 cvs by 4 PM .. I work there .. didnt get any such notifications !!
What positions in Medicaid were notified?
Confirmed 100 in Medicaid - those just were notified and received a pre warning to notification that we will be receiving on the 14th.
Looks like the majority of it at HQ is going down Wednesday. They are asking everyone to leave the One CVS building by 4pm that day. I’m guessing that they want to give people the opportunity to come back in the afternoon to be able to empty out their desks without too many others around.
Confirmed. My team just absorbed multiple managers and trainers from a team that was let go.
