Sounds like they become employees of Trintech now, but for how long? I question why were FI selling the Frontier and Accurate solutions?

Good For the Frontier product and associates if there are any left.

If there was anyone interested in Bank Solutions a deal would have been done by now. So the strategy for next gen solutions rides on an unfished banking product First Data (FB) took an ownership stake in prior to the Fiserv hostile takeover. All happening while FI's on the 'real' core the real platforms have come to hate fiserv so much for these potential sales.

Nothing I'm reading there makes me think they'll return as contractors. Is that really the case?

They must have been remote workers.

Lucky? Affected Fiserv people will be essentially fired from Fiserv without pay and end up doing the same job in worse conditions with even less job security. That's what happened to the helpdesk support people when they were sold and contracted back to Fiserv. They didnt even have to change desks in the office but their working life became a lot harder. This is the latest way for Fiserv to do mass layoffs without the cost. They even make money doing it.

They can't sell Bank Solutions. It is the only part of Fiserv that has any type of margin. Frank needs it to fund his next acquisition.

Luckiest people in Fiserv right there. I always hoped they'd sell bank solutions but got tired of waiting.
