Hey JRC you better make sure store staffing structure allows for at least 2 key holders. To control LP, key holder needs to take out the trash, so store always needs a key holder on the clock. No BS decision to have a non key holder covering the store to make sure we get uninterrupted break. Store coverage is also not a responsibility of non keyholder and if they are not approved to remove trash from the store, how are they going to be in charge of the store for 30 uninterrupted minutes?. We are legally entitled to an uninterrupted break. Also, make sure payroll hours are enough to cover this legal requirement. All these one man shops are creating a working environment of no breaks. Have to take out the trash before opening or after closing. We are supposed to go to the bank once a week...again on the clock beyond the open to close hours. I will make sure I am on the clock when researching how to report this illegal working environment (and making my report)! Store is left unattended when I use the bathroom.

They cannot charge more than cost. They would not make a profit on the merchandise. There are usually deep discount sales to clear inventory in advance.
One thing I haven't seen yet. If they go under and no longer run a location, the colleges are required to purchase merchandise or the company that replaces them has to...$$$$ even if the go bankrupt. Wonder if they are overfilling stores with merchandise for that end?
Lmao this post is sad!
Follett Family totally different from JRC. Hiring a bunch of over priced executives that are not needed and add no value is not milking anything. It's scre-wing over your investors. Adding over paid useless executives to your payroll and cutting experienced associates at your cost centers is just...d-mb.
Their way of milking out the money before they go under. Even they can see the writing on the wall. We are the id--ts for hanging around to watch the end credits of a bad movie.
To be honest that was going on before JRC.
Hmmm. JRC is an investment company.
Did hiring more Executives for the Ivory Tower work for the Follett Family?
Is the problem REALLY with the lack of high priced management in the Ivory Tower?
And why does it seem that all the high salary executives hired for the Ivory Tower always related in some way to the senior management?
JRC investors, not looking too good for you!
Before JRC managers were "exempt" now they are hourly. Whole new set of rules. But I'm sure those execs thought of that before making their changes. Maybe the RMs and MLs can shuffle around to cover store lunch breaks.
To be honest that was going on before JRC.
Don't worry, JRC will hire another executive for the Ivory Tower to come up with a solution!
Just one more executive JRC investors, just one more...
