Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Q2 meeting today

Who has their bingo card ready to go? Is it too much to ask for leadership to have a meaningful conversation with their employees? . And not just repurpose their stockholders meeting with the associate meeting. Really would be good for
Fr@nk and his crew to address our issues

Unbelievable. I didnt realize I was working for the Logan Roy family.
Borderline harassment and immature behavior today. Imagine acting like that in front of 35K+ employees. So embarassing!!!

Interesting how they mentioned hiring in Nebraska. They must be feeling some heat about not meeting their employee quota.

Maybe they should have checked that before the last few rounds of layoffs?

People doing the work here are not spoiled...these are hard jobs that require a lot of effort and expertise. When the corporate business model includes underlying tax break agreements for specific locations, there are going to be pressures to ensure that the governing entity reaps those benefits...RTO is the shorthand for that payback. Local restaurants, gas stations, etc. A full compliment of commuters exactly in the address signed up for. If the building isn't full it could raise eyebrows or cause the governor to be "disappointed". The only strategy FB has is built on a house of cards of tax deals. The idea of strategic co-location is ridiculous given how work is distributed...it's only to ensure seats are full. And since everyone knows it, the continued insistance and rising volume on the stale talking points is just that much more off-putting. Remember, FB signs the tax deals and is in the photo ops for the ribbon cuttings...he must not lose face. Client contracts? Pfff. Where they gonna go? FIS?

I am filing a complaint with HR for his language and for how he referred to us, the actual people who help move money in the world! Who will join me? I'm not afraid of him, not one bit. I'll participate in congressional hearings regarding how his failed policies ARE the issue and how they imploded everything financially. Imagine having to go back to writing checks for everything.

@gvu+1nNCsdOT Because there shouldn’t be a 1-size-fits-all solution. I don’t work with anyone in my building. It was never a problem before. Why is it a problem now? How is it logical to make me travel to an office to do the exact same thing I’ve been doing just fine from home? Why is there even the the thought that I should uproot my family and move to where the people I do work with, when it was never an issue before? Please tell me what benefit there is, when there is zero collaboration where I’m going?

I know this doesn’t fit the narrative of the posters so far, but here’s a quote: “There’s more energy, collaboration, and connections happening since we’ve been working together at least three days per week, and we’ve heard this from lots of employees and the businesses that surround our offices. We continue to look at the best ways to bring teams together in the same locations…”

From Amazon Spokesperson

Working together isn’t new. Collaboration isn’t new. And, what’s old is new again. I like being in the office. It doesn’t work for everyone. It’s not personal. Let’s take the insults and hostility out of this and figure out what works for you and your family. Maybe it’s not Fiserv, maybe it’s not Amazon.

This needs to be leaked to the press on how FB really is.
He is feeling heat from somewhere thus the lack of professionalism and his need to belittle others.

Shareholders, grow a pair and challenge this group or you WILL be left holding the bag. A bag full of debt. Wise up!

All signs of a sinking ship captain...

Why didn’t he review the overall your voice responses? Our managers can only tell us feedback from our own team.

I don’t agree with FB but he met this head on and didn’t hide from it. Maybe we are spoiled, maybe it’s time for some people to move on. They aren’t changing RTO and he’s double/triple downing on it. He is at the top of hill and he’s not backing down. At this point quit crying and just leave.

Looking at deeply negative survey results, getting visibly angry, and calling all of your associates spoiled on an all hands call certainly is a strategy.

You think clients are mad now? Wait until more internal experts leave because they are willing to die on this RTO hill. Asking for time off is NOT the same as the daily flexibility employees need. We have proven remote location does not negatively impact productivity. The RTO attrition is self inflicted by a person who totally disregards the company's best resources.

Someone smarter than me needs to unionize Fiserv. Every chance management gets to hurt us, they take it. 6% match and discretionary profit sharing to 401K vanished in 2008. Bonuses cut in 2010. 15% stock discount gone in 2020. Remote work gutted in 2023. Nothing they do ever benefits the employees. So sick of this...

He is clueless what is required of fiserv staff. Clients don’t care where we are one darn bit. They just want solid support and consistency. He keeps reciting the same bs and if he says it enough he believes it to be fact.

Did he really say these things posted? The meeting was late per usual and I am too busy trying calm million dollar clients who find out a services/support an entire insulting joke to attend. I really hate that I ever joined this place.
