Overpay 45B for Covidien and line Omar and Geoff's pockets with cash

Destroy Medtronic morale and structure by bringing those toolbags in

Eviscerate supply chain, quality systems, increase recalls, destroy comp, allowances, commissions

Proceed to miss AOP essentially every year (except a few quarters here and there)

Lose all the good people ( I mean seriously if you've stuck around at MDT after the chaos that has been the last 5 years, you are probably a masochist or a loser just there to collect a paycheck)

Spin out basically all the Covidien businesses you overpaid for

Anyone get the feeling all of this was a giant, well thought out and elaborate scam by Omar, Geoff and co? Probably the entire board too

Post ID: @OP+1nN74oUg - people who orchestrated Covidien merger and then do the reverse HQ move to Ireland are Traitors and Tax-Cheat. This merger benefited no one other than these executives themselves. Their American Citizenship should be revoked if they got it thru naturalization process.

Covidien was much more innovative organically than MDT. MDT system (Quality and Reorganization) is organic R&D unfriendly.

Not sure why I see people putting Covidien down.. Covidien was fine before Medtronic took them over. One of the main reasons Medtronic acquired Covidien was for Cash flow. So not sure what information you have. But we were totally fine before medtronic.

Seriously though Covidien Quality system is a disaster .

Legacy medtronic is way better without Covidien
