Portland on the chopping block, eh? Great, all Portland needs is more
Jobless hippies…
There's only two hubs not on the chopping block, Hyderabad and Hudson Yards. Everything else is expendable in Sharts eyes. The only question is, near term or long term. In the end they all go.
A reasonable estimation for any LOB is to go look at the openings in WorkDay for your job title/field. There are your core locations. Of course there are always outliers and accommodations.
Tech has 22 current hubs, redux that to 7 stateside and 2 in India. Some hubs are multiple sites within the same metro. Irving and Dallas are the same metro but separate sites. San Antonio is a Home Lending and Tech hub.
sxk+1nI2SoOV Does that include the Hillsboro and Salem call centers?
Each LOB is slightly different. Some have exceptions.
Some are different depending on lob; easiest way to know is to look at job postings. They’re pretty much only in hub locations.
I think it depends on line of business. For home mortgage, it’s Des Moines, Minneapolis, Charlotte, San Antonio, and Phoenix.
What about St. Louis?
NYC, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Phoenix and can't remember the last one.
The Hubs are NYC, Bangalore, Hyderbad, and Manilla
Portland, Denver, Philly and LA are fu---d.
For the near term, before it goes to India and NYC, the hub cities are:
NY, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Dallas, Phoenix, and San Francisco.
Portland’s on the chopping block.
Just one - India.
