Have you noticed that we haven’t seen anyone in management trying to post positive messages about culture and collaboration now that they know they are a main target in the layoffs? Elimination of hierarchical structures and non client facing positions sure sounds like their jobs are the ones on the line now. Funny how that works

Speaking as a “manager” that’s what they get paid for my friend. To try and strategically handle day to day and keep the culture in a good position. Don’t assume because they send something out that they actually agree with it or never have concerns. They are usually worried about their jobs as well. It’s not us vs them.

While I appreciate the sentiment, I don’t think this is why you don’t see the messages. The leaders found out about this in the same way as the rest of us. No one knows anything. The EC owns all of this.
