There is a toxic smog across Audit and it's only getting worse. My manger is miserable, I am miserable and everyone I talk to is miserable but no one feels they can speak up. If they have not posted out already, they spend evenings desperately searching. Does the CAO not think we hear the backhanded comments. Does leadership not think we talk and know what is going on. HR has to know what is going, how can they not we are leaving in droves. I was told to "buckle in" but this car is going in the wrong direction and swerving erratically. This is not my ride. Do better Truist, do better HR, do better Bill. We are YOUR employees.

Must be nice to know people in high places. Two more colleagues picked off to join your ranks. Telling people they were promised roles before they were even interviewed. Guess equal opportunity is not a thing. Sort of remember some recent news of that getting Wells Fargo into some trouble. Have fun with that.
: @cohn+1nCuAQvp Welcome to the credit world where templates and check sheets are created that check other templates and check sheets that were created to check sheets that were just created, some by audit, some by SME’s with no real world knowledge. Training, what a joke, creation of policies that are directly different than corporate policies in place. When called out by people who do the jobs they seem d-mbfounded and then call a halt to the training while research policies. No one has any idea WTF they are doing or why! Technology has gotten worse since merger, offshoring, N Cino. I have no doubt that SunTruist would buy N Cino if times were different since they are currently for sale. They would fit the useless technology we seem to adore.
I've been ask to start, stop, and start again audits all within a couple weeks. Told to slow down and then speed up to meet dates with no explanation. Filling out worthless new templates that are redundant with no context. Attending trainings where no one seems to know when or why. Maybe not the most toxic but definitely wins for the most uncoordinated.
I don't care, as long as I can become an Assistant Vice President! Then I can be part of the toxicity problems, too!
You need to be much more concerned with your #2 in Audit. Wolf in sheep's clothing.
TAS = Dumpster Fire
What did you expect these people only worked for D or roles she put them in. Do your research
She seems perfect for the type of organization Bill has run for several years. Don’t expect he or anyone else to admit they made a mistake, because he has never made one. The future is bright if you can just find your purpose. Obviously Mrs. D knows her purpose.
The CAO did the same thing at her previous bank. She created a toxic culture and blamed everyone but her team. None of her folks could ever agree on what was an issue and what was not. The over promised to the regulators when the regulators weren’t even asking for it. Her and her leaders overlooked open issues for years and blamed everyone else.
MUFG person here. I am chucklingly at all these comments. Seems like none of these folks have changed their ways. They left our risk and audit functions in chaos. DCAO loves to run to HR when you don't follow blindly. Seems like your HR didn't do their due diligence.
Toxic is suger coating what audit has become. The CAOs leadership is nepotism at its finest. We have brought in a culture of eat or be eaten and do what your told. What leader announces "I have hired someone to do that work I don't want to do" referring to her deputy to their whole organization during a townhall. Don't be fooled they want us all gone.
It seems they brought in a new leader last year who turned it this way by getting rid of people who knew what they are doing and bringing in her own people. Ruined the vibes
Calling BS on management trying to stop audit from leaving. The opposite is true, folks are being told to find new jobs or sent on “rotations” that are rumored to be permanent.
Audit is a sh!t show right now, nobody knows what’s going on or how it got this bad so quickly.
Just so you know, MGMT is trying hard to stop you guys from leaving behind the scenes.
I don’t work in Audit however well versed in the issues.
The people claiming tour struggles of misguided haters who don’t understand the important role you play.
Low skilled auditors are easily replaceable
So many areas and the leadership in general are so toxic in this bank it’s hard to determine which is worse. It starts at the top with Rogers and the BOD and spreads throughout like a virus.
Compliance/Risk/BURN is worse…..
If you think Bill’s newest add to the Executive leadership group cares about you I’ll have some of what you’re smoking. It is obviously some great stuff!
Haha oh look, one of the little people thinks they matter! Hahahaha!
You’re not miserable, you’re just making sure everyone else is as miserable as they say they are.
Hilarious to hear one of the checkers who check the checkers complain about how they’re treated. Reap it!
Something
Ditto u pos go do soy productive
Nobody feels sorry for Audit. You people made our lives miserable for years coming up with your silly nonsense. Frankly I’m happy to read your comment.
