When the management continues to solve issues exclusively through layoffs it becomes clear how incompetent and desperate they are. True leadership would find sustainable ways of improving results instead of continuing to cut costs that shouldn't be cut (workforce). Unluckily for us, we do not have true leadership.

There are lot of mo--ns in the middle layer leadership that take care of people who su-k up to them. They don’t care about what you bring to the table since they don’t have brains to differentiate skill vs BS.
Once again, cry babies that come here to complain instead of just taking care of business at work! Please do us ALL a favor, quit, you're clearly providing NOTHING to the company you entitled mo--ns
To the last poster thanks for giving us insight into this nightmare. The company is a disaster.
Feel free to vent here but as the previous poster stated, you are free to leave anytime you want. Sure, this place has a particularly sleazy culture but if you are going to work here, you have to accept it. I spent way too long at the company but it was my decision. The last 5 years I found myself hoping to get redeployed but it never came. I saw a lot of coworkers and others tapped over the years. It never made sense who was picked. Some of the best people I worked with were let go. I think I was never selected because I kept my head down and did my job was no threat to others because I did not play the politics that are required to move far up the cult.
It has been painfully obvious the company has no ability to manage their workforce other than flood with new hires and then manage out and fire to reduce when market conditions dictate. This company ALWAYS overdoes the hiring and firing.
One thing for sure, the senior leadership at this company are not in their positions because of competence. This company is what you get when promotions are based on popularity and politics. It is really sad what the company has become over the past 20 years.
I finally resigned after well over 20 years since it was obvious I was not going to get my turn to be redeployed. I won multiple Circle of Excellence awards, I always had at the very least Strong rating over the years but once I got over 60, while my performance was as good as ever and I had decades of experience and continued to drive projects and solutions, I was put on a PIP with no explanation. The unspoken explanation was that I was a white male, over 60 and they wanted me to leave. That was the thanks for building the company all those years.
Understand that if you are redeployed, it will probably be the best thing that ever happened to you. Do not think you were let go because of your performance since some of the very best have been let go over the years. There will be some short term heartburn, but you will see that once you are out of the cult, the skies will clear and you will realize this was a really toxic culture. If you decide to stay, just do not take things too seriously and put your own life far above the company because they are just using you. Use them right back!
you're not a slave. leave if you don't like it. if you leave that will cut costs without layoffs. solution
Yes. It's been like that for 20 years. Shut it down.
