Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Actors strike?

Think about it. Actors who make millions of dollars in salary and do little to no labor have a union to represent them.
Is there any wireless employee that still thinks they don’t need a union after…

Layoffs, compensation changes, hour changes, poor leadership, HR supporting lying VPs?

Just the simple fact that leadership says “a union will not change compensation” shows why VZW employees need one.

To be fair, I’ve always been told unionizing would be terrible for retail workers. However, I think the benefit would be prolonging these changes that corporate “leadership” thinks they can implement less than 30 days notice. There’s a reason why management gets so defensive about it, it’s because sh-t like that wouldn’t change as easily for them. Honestly in my 10 years of tenure, I’d say it might be worth it to stick it to higher ups. Or at-least utilize the threat of the Union to balance the power a bit more.

Or....Enough employees could leave causing sales to call that leadership changes their policies (with no union).
