Another round of layoffs impacting multiple areas. Many of which have absolutely no where for the work to go. It will fall thru the cracks and slow down sales and drive clients away. I can’t even slightly wrap may brain around the logic in this.

Which areas are feeling the impact? Unfortunately it will be a trickle down affect also.
It's easy to understand. They are putting a bandaid on the wrist of a severed hand. These guys only care about stuff within a given quarter.
At some point, it will doom them. My guess is they think they'll bail/retire/be acquired before it does them in.
Logic doesn't come into play...it's numbers on a report. FB relies on dashboards to drive decisions...not contextual business decision making.
