People are happier and more productive at home. They know how many of us will quit if we have to fully RTO. Many have quit already. They don't give a damn about cooperation and collaboration and the exchange of ideas and whatever else they claim they do. They just want to increase attrition to save on severance.

Absolutely correct, it saves the company money to have people quit. Depending on the numbers a layoff will soon follow.
have you also just figured out that usually when water touches something, it gets wet?
