Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Is Ginni Rometty a bad leader?

It's so strange that people are selected and celebrated for a non-changeable attribute in the face of equality. Why is someone celebrated as a woman leader that in reality was a horrible leader for IBM?

I suppose that Fiserv Forum has a large room with a lot of bad leaders?

She was the worst. Even Lou did nothing but sell real estate all over the place and keep IBM in profits while trying to get rid of people with outdated skills

IBM moves from city to city following tax cuts. They tell everyone move to this town (too far to commute) so people will quit on their own. When the tax cuts run out, they shut down and move on to the next. So see what they did in Iowa. Look at all the State accounts that IBM butchered and lost law suits due to lack of being able to support contracts. If FI is following in IBM's footsteps, run, run away now....

Ginny settled a law suit because she did not want to produce her (job cutting due to age) emails in court. Take it from there. You think wittle frankie is bad? He is following in her footsteps......

Which for IBM is just crazy, because they were pioneers in remote work decades ago. They figured out early that cutting overhead by eliminating physical locations was a win for the company. Fiserv did it for a decade too under Yabuki. Now we have a guy who is stuck in 1955. Leading a technology company. FFS.

Lou Gerstner was a hard taskmaster but revived a DEAD IBM by brute force. Sam Palisamo followed with with terrible leadership and Ginny ran by that playbook. CUT COSTS via people. They had a playbook too. All were mandated to work from a central office. Young yuppie types could abandon apartments easy and move, but older workers (mortgage, home, etc) could not. Age discrimination done quiet. Sound familiar FrankServ employees?

24 consecutive quarters of revenue decline. She seems great.
