Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Have Oracle Leaders Communicated Layoffs Yet?

Or have leaders just continued to keep mum on things? I remember the August ‘22 folks never got mentioned internally.

Think of non communication as a type of communication. It is telling you something, but just not directly.

Oracle doesn't communicate layoffs, even big ones like in Aug'22. Not even a generic "tough choices, accept full responsibility, here's the way forward" email from leadership. Just sad and classless.

You only hear about layoffs from peers and the news. I know North America Apps got hit over the past two weeks, FWIW, but no idea how bad.

We have been told that outsourcing decisions will be made in the next week. RE&F is being fully outsourced.

I remember when Sun outsourced RE&F. Get used to nothing getting done. As far as I am concerned, outsourcing is the beginning of the deathslide.

RE&F is being outsourced because keeping on site Facilities folks makes no sense when 90% of the company is WFH.
