His salary and tenure doesn’t say he’s failed, nor does the stock market
Broussard has been getting it wrong since he took on this role. I am sure we are all aware of the calamitous projects and direction changes ushered in during his tenure.
During initial training we were told that humana USED to be company of NO because they denied so many claims. They claimed to have changed, become more human centric and determined to have the best plans out there. Look at them now. Back to the company that loves to say NO. Back to the company which wants to put their customers on colony's.... They tried that in the past with trailer parks. He is a failed leader. He has failed his stockholders, his associates and most spectacularly, his customers.
Broussard predicted that home health care in a decade will look “far different” than how it looks today.….
The key words in that article….Centerwell, value based, in home. Centerwell is expanding rapidly. Humana bought out hh agencies to get their licenses for service areas. I think most of us can agree the telephonic model isn’t always the best, and members prefer face to face.
I think we’re going to see more layoffs as the Humana model gets more entrenched in centerwells. Or jobs will be more like the FCMs.
The acuity of the members is going to get higher.
