I'm going to assume that layoffs everybody is talking about will be announced today during the earnings call. How much influence will the company results have on the number/timing of layoffs? Is it already decided or can it be adjusted depending on numbers? Is there anybody who knows about these things?

Just echoing what others have said: they are always laying off very small numbers that they will never announce. Unless there's a legal requirement for them to publish it, they won't.
And if someone posts with no details; timing, locations, numbers, etc, just dismiss it. There's no point in working here in constant stress. Just focus on yourself, learn more skills, keep your resume up to date, build your own career.
It is too bad Dan hasn't left the company yet. The man should have been part of the layoffs.
Layoffs will always be happening no matter the success of the company. I doubt we will se anything like we did in February. We just don't hear of the small ones that take place throughout the year and those tend to be at the management level. Unless someone posts something with some credibility and not "just trust me bro", I wouldn't put stock into it. Always have your resume ready just like you always should.
