My new coworkers and I originally did our jobs fully remote. It made training a nightmare, but we managed. Then they moved us to SH, then to BH. 0 days in office went to 3. Now 4, and inevitably 5. This is undeniably a pay cut in disguise. From how ridiculous gas prices are, to the time spent towards travel to work. If I presented to my manager how our job has slowly been decreasing how much of our pay we take home, how could they be surprised we don't want to work here anymore? If this is all a scheme to get people to quit, it works doublely well when they have less time and cash to spend on themselves.

With inflation from the insane money printing and bailouts, gas prices are the least of your worries. Fiserv is fully onboard the woke culture hole the politicians dump the country in.
I'd count my commute time as working hours if they end up forcing me to an office. If they don't like it they can kiss my a$$.
The real pay cut is that your pay increase is lower than inflation.
Relocation to areas with a higher cost of living only makes sense when an equal or greater increase or pay is offered. Doing so when housing costs are at near record highs and interest rates are through the roof make absolutely no sense for employees without a substantial pay raise.
