Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

People should leave fiserv

I know most of the people I worked with in 3 different business units are gone because they were let go, pushed out or found other jobs. Nobody was safe and some of the people I knew were absolutely brilliant. Why anyone would stay in a company, other than its a pay check, where you simply arent valued boggles the mind. I got a new job making about 15% more, full time remote, and almost no overtime. The funny part is that my new company uses FIS and just recently dumped fiserv. When I asked why, they told me they hated fiserv and that FIS was a much better company.

Get your resume out there and make things better. If you wait, you might find yourself in the unemployment line.

"Have a look at what their employees are saying on their page of this site. FIS may not even be around much longer. They are in WAY worse shape than Fiserv"

After I dug through the index (they are no where near front page material like Frankserv) I found FIS's page on here. Last post was 15 days ago. Have you seen the traffic and unrest on here for Fiserv? LOFL.

Is FIS great? Nope. Would I apply there? Nope. But if you think Fiserv is discernibly better then pass me whatever you are smoking dude.

“FIS was a much better company”

HAHAHAHA!

Your new company is in for a shock when they realize FIS can’t service them at all because their only aim at this point is survival. FIS is on their knees.

Have a look at what their employees are saying on their page of this site. FIS may not even be around much longer. They are in WAY worse shape than Fiserv.

Who TH gave this post 9 likes?!?

Thanks for the laugh.

I thought Jim sounded like he could be Frank when he talks. The talking points are so funny. In SF, they gave their usually rah rah speech on RTO and co-locating and how valuable it is to work in person with your teams. So then people asked, well if that's so important why is all the hiring for this unit being done in BH and Brookfield? Watching them stumble around babbling about priorities and taxes was comical. It's basically do as I say not as I do when it comes to all this RTO / co-locating BS.

And I 100% agree with the OP. Great points.

Was that the last stop on his farewell tour? (He's staying, those locations are leaving.)

The most amazing thing about HP being in Lincoln was really appreciating how long Frank's arm is to reach all the way from Manhattan and make him talk. I bet even his family worries what HP would do if Frank ordered it...

Associates in Lincoln asked some necessary tough questions of HP and JG and received nothing but silver-tongued replies. One associate asked point-blank about Lincoln's longevity and received a roundabout "we still care about Premier" answer - but nothing about Lincoln's future. Pack your bags folks, we'll be commuting to Omaha soon. This is doubly underscored by the fact that the pair kept saying "we want to maintain a Nebraska presence" instead of mentioning Lincoln specifically.
