Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

They really said Fiserv does not do Layoffs

On a call today with Roman sickIUnas, he said that Fiserv had not had layoffs and we should be GRATEFUL!
This was in response to people who are upset about having to come back into the office.

You should be grateful if you get laid off. This beats being forced to quit.

A layoff implies there is a chance you might get rehired or called back into service. A reduction in force usually means there is no chance of being rehired. RIF means the position has been eliminated.

Nitpicky, but FISERV has been eliminating positions with no intention of refilling them

Who do they think they are fooling? We know the people laid off.

Of course Fiserv does not do layoffs...we call them RIFs. It's just that this website calls them layoffs.... Senior management has lost the ability to differentiate lies from truth, but sure can read a script....
