Indeed.
And how this layoff was handled (and depending in part of how well - or not - the company takes care of the impacted folks via severance packages) is not instilling confidence in those of us employees who remain behind.
It's really too bad, because things were really in poor shape a couple of years ago in terms of poor leadership (the previous CMO comes to mind as a prime example), and Alteryx hired an entirely new cadre of leadership who seemed to be really getting their act together, executing well, and making good progress on the product front. Employees who had seen the really bad times were slowly gaining faith and trust in the leadership.
Then all of this happens. The reality is that Alteryx has been laying off people almost consistently since the November/December 2022 time period. Several "bursts" of layoffs totaling about 5% of people, then another mini-wave of layoffs in the early-mid, Q1 time frame, which management deliberately kept quiet.
The bottom line is that pretty much all of the goodwill that the leadership team has been regaining in the eyes of employees over the past 18 months ..... is now totally diminished and gone. Everyone is upset and looking around to see who is going to get axed next. A sad state of affairs.
