Since this is the layoff board does anyone know when the next rounds of layoff's going to happen?

Rumor is tomorrow May 16. Always be wary of Tuesdays.
This isn't a layoff board. Its just a board where people troll each other based on where they live or what line of business they work in.
Commercial Banking laidoff many employees last week. CB terminated a few more this week. More terminations and layoffs in San Francisco, Oakland, and Concord are planned starting next Monday.
Correct. Look at Qtrly report headcounts (they are in teamworks archive), and also India headcount under Banerrji. india #'s in 2019 were around 15,000...now its about 46,000. Also remember Charlie total #'s now include contractors, so quarterly report is more accurate.
To those who are relying on the total number in Teamworks…
US positions are being axed simultaneously while India and Philippines positions are being added.
So if you are looking for US employee numbers, you need to analyze further.
@jjn+1mmTPwvf You track it via teamworks by periodically looking at total employee count. 1jan = 270,000 and 1jul = 264,000 then general averaging show a loss of 1k/month. Ultra rough number though

This is a layoff board?
@khd+1mmTPwvf How are you able to track that viat teamworks?
March 7 was a huge layoff day so there is no calendar of events. It happens when HR gets caught up from the last cattle batch. There are thousands more to be axed this year so get ready. Tech and mortgage to take more major hits. Those jobs are going to India.
It seems to be the third week of the month, and on Tuesdays now. There never has been "huge" layoffs at WF as HR can't handle it. It's usually a few hundred, but with all the one -offs that occur. Yes, people are laid off daily, it's been around 1000 per month for the past 3 years. It was around 1200 but has slowed down the past year. Thats easy to check as well and I kept track for the past 3 years based on teamworks. Now, some of those numbers are people leaving and retiring, but what's clear, no real back-fill.
If you haven't noticed none of the big prediction dates have ever come true over the last two years. Yes, there were some layoffs but not the thousands of people those on this board say will happen. It will be a slow drain so that more people will opt out on their own. JPM, BAC and others used the exact same tactics. Chainsaw creates nothing new even with layoffs. I will be leaving in June. Can't keep waiting for a package that will never come. My boss and I agreed that I would wait until after midyear reviews to give him someone to rank a 1. For me he agreed that I wont have any work to do between now and then. No RTO, no work.
