Thank goodness, this is going to be a real mess. Many problems are being reported.
Whoever had this idea should be fired.

The person who came up with the idea, BM, was fired last year.

The person is referring to exclusive, horizon wave has not been postponed. And 20 minutes to logon, that's bs.
I’m sure SVB implemented this shht show and now is leading CSBB to wreck it too.
I like it better, especially since I can use my own computer. If you are not at all tech savvy and can't read directions, I can see you having problems.
Once VDI succeeded across US, everywhere will outsource to India and China.
And they will report American being replaced by automation.
I think he already got promoted. Saul?
I moved to VDI a few months ago. There were some initial bugs. Going forward, it's fine. Others have mentioned some basis design flaws.
It takes a loooonngg time to log in every morning. I allow 20 minutes for the log in process. Even with that, I've been late to morning meetings if I hit a glitch during log in. If they only tracked how much time is wasted by these "experiments".
I was supposed to have it installed this week but got the notice also.
OP - were you referring to this week or did you get additional notifications of it pausing
I like how we're spending zillions on this while the execs are pushing for all work to be done in-office. It's stupidity, and they can't even be consistent in their stupidity.
was migrated to VD a couple of months ago. unable to customize alerts, headset settings never "stick" , times out in 2 min if no mouse movement ..it will show you inactive--and you have to log back in every time.
I'm getting used to it... but, yeah, it s^ucks
I transitioned to VDI last month.. it works fine.. I have encountered almost no issues and when I did IT was helpful. I do miss the other platform but it is what it is
they didn't fire them, they were moved to a new org
some colleague's of mine recently switched to the new vdi and have had nothing but trouble.
Can confirm my scheduled migration to VDI was postponed.
I was kind of looking forward to it since this piece of hardware with a Dell logo on it keeps getting worse and had problems from the moment they gave it to me. I miss the rock-solid-by-comparison Lenovos. I guarantee I've lost more money in wasted Wells Fargo time with this piece of junk than they saved on the h/w cost.
Where are you seeing this?
