Outside from monitoring badge swipes, today someone was telling me that there are plans to track websites that are browsed during office hours. I do spend time on some educational websites (eg: using approx two hours to learn about AI and machine learning via a third party platform).
Would this level of browsing be considered an issue ?
What has been your experience. Any tips will be appreciated.

They track a while lot more than that.
They've been tracking this for years, even keystrokes, but they've never really used it unless an HR or malicious event occurs. They've never used it to really proactive purposes for ESPN or Yahoo.

That's OK, the company dictates that we waste a similar amount of time driving around for no reason rather than working. They decided that inefficiency was a good idea, not us.

It's pretty simple OP. Just use your own devices and network access for that. I never visit not specifically work related web sites on my work PC. To much risk and nothing to gain from it. Use your own stuff and you'll never have to worry about it.
It's more to track IP addresses to see if people are getting a badge swipe and then working from home...Big Brother is watching you, Winston.
y'all worry too much, plus anyone who spends all day on the web on their work computer deserves whatever they get. it's like the people who get caught looking at pern on their work computer.
Browse on your own device. Use 5G, do not connect to WF WiFi.
Use wireless earbuds
Corps have been monitoring browsing activity forever. I don’t see how or why. WF would ever attempt to correlate web activity with RTO. They will most likely only review web activity if you are flagged for keywords/content (pern) and they need to admonish you. RTO tracking is performed by IP.
If whatever you read about is remotely related to your position, a future position at wells or simply informational with no obscure overtones (far left or right politics, fringe information) then I wouldn’t be concerned.
I’m still deciding on what gender I want to be. I require access to certain… sites, for research. Lots of research.
Now that you have i phones you can browse on your own devise
They do it now but OP, this sounds 100% like non-WF/work “learning.” Use your personal computer or phone. Easy.
Think of the most unsophisticated monitoring - that’s what wells is doing
Plans?! I have been in the industry for 25 years & 4 different firms. They all have done this the whole time. Standard policy. Everything is monitored on firm equipment. I can’t comment on the sites but if you spent 2 hours learning about AI but it’s not relevant to your job I’d avoid it in the future. Will anything happen, probably not.
