Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Will a mass exodus follow?

Fiserv's goal is to increase the number of people willing to quit without severance. This is one tool they are using to achieve this objective. If they do not hit their goal then they will push it up to five days a week or possibly reduce benefits to encourage people to leave.

Op @1tym+1mh45u6L. I too think that this will be the further course of events.

Fiserv needs to focus on client services & Ethical, lawful & social accountability, who they allow to use there software packages, many of these people existing go on to join other independent ISO's that use the power of login to cause clients & agents tremendous harm, there's no one checking up on all these people who have access to there software packages. Who fall in to unethical & lawless actions that aren't close to Fierv standards or governance because of having full access & NO Oversight of who's login is doing what to whom & if those logins still belong to a current or was ever an employee of the ISO. It's a very big deal when they leave & join a ISO's who Fiserv hasn't looked into there cause & effect on there systems software packages ever. Some of those packages are being used against what they were licensed for & no overnight or concent.

Hiring freeze + exodus of talent that can go to the other employers that offer hybrid 1-3 days in the office per week/month or full remote...

This will have the biggest impact on single Moms & those with disabilities - so much for diversity & flexibility

40,000+ people driving to work 4 days a week... so much for saving the environment.

And another point, why should we use teams meetings anymore since if you are not in the same physical location then you can't collaborate
