Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

That's it I quit

I will finish my job today as the sales rep But after today they can find somebody else. I am parking my no good Chevy Malibu In my manager's yard And joining my colleague who is cutting yards and doing landscape. At least I will not be stressed out and Overworked.

Au contraire. I was scared I wouldn’t get the buyout because my numbers were so good. Didn’t have it? Lol. Have what? The ability to order enough cookies to not run out within 48 hours? Or the ability to talk to high school dropouts and ask them pretty please can I have a display? Or is it the ability to stock cr--kers really fast? I’m glad you think you have all that because it won’t apply to your next employer so you better hope the dsd gravy train doesn’t end for you

To the previous poster, you sound bitter that you were let go cause you didn't have it...

It’s pretty obvious the company kept the mindless drones. They are easier to control and keep happy. Pack of cookies and a free cup every once in a while keeps them motivated

I come back because I liked the people I worked with but hated management and the company. The longer you work here the more you forget how you should be treated. Just sharing my story. Upper management has said they don't pay for quality employees. They don't value you and the people defending their actions are just as bad.

First of all, this site is for sharing stories! Perhaps that why people come back to share experiences. I’d also think that perhaps it tells that the disgusting behavior of management isn’t new, the newbies may be interested to know! Lastly, it offers encouragement for those who feel stuck in their jobs? Hope that answers your question! Now go back back to the sweat shop for more abuse, but know you do have a choice!

I was let go this last severance. Already well established in my new job making more while never working a minute over 40 sitting at a desk. Honestly can't believe I put up with mdlz bs for as long as I did. New boss is always asking if I need anything or have any questions. It's weird being treated like a human now.

It’s so sad to speak with current employees, not a single one likes it there! They treat employees like dirt! I too got out and am back better than I was when I left, wake up everyday and love my life again! It can happen to anyone if they give it a chance! Don’t let your DM or RDR treat you like anything other than the great the person that you are! I’d never let anyone talk to me the way they talk to some…..degrading and demoralizing!!!

The sad thing is that the company wants loyalty and discards employees like garbage.

Good for you! So many jobs out there, do what you want! Don’t let others who are miserable and too scared to leave, attempt to make you feel bad! You’ll do great

Bingo !!!!! Show up to work. Use this time to network. Find your future job. Hopefully with a company that will appreciate you. I sacrificed alot for this company and to know they will eventually toss me aside angers me but also fuels me. Maybe I'll start my own cookie company and take em down 👀

I agree, just show up and get your check. It’s hard for them to fire you. Lazy DM and RMS won’t want to go through the hassle. Since they don’t care, why should you?

Sales reps are just order writer trainers. Next year sales reps will be bought out.

the thing is they won't find another sales rep to do your job. they'll get an order writer. they're cheaper, no need to provide them a company car. they do the same job. sales rep positions are becoming obsolete.
