Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Last week

Well this is going to be the last week for many. I know some stores will be losing everyone and that's pretty sad. Bet there's going to be alot of pi---d of Colleges and University's as it's graduation time and it takes alot more than 1 person to help with caps and gowns.

That is what happens when you put people in control that have no idea about this retail business. All retail is NOT equal. Our business is unique. But since they've only done big box they have no clue. Wonder how many stores have 0 employees as of Monday EOD...

It really is. We are so sad for the students and parents and college employee that have no idea what is about to happen. Those we’ve told have their jaws drop to the floor in shock.

I still can't believe they chose now, of all times, to do this. I legit laugh out loud every time I think about it because it is just so absurd. Why lay off or force out so much of your staff right before one of the busiest and most important (from a campus relations perspective) times of the year? Absolute insanity.
