What's going to happen to those who lost their building due to not renewing lease? Are we screwed? My manager said we're fine but I'm starting to think they are preparing on gutting us out

This is quality control and I warmly recommend the forgotten American god of such an issue: W Edwards Deming. Look up deming.org - much good knowledge there and most could be used at Fiserv - eh, Frankserv

I have a lot of experience in Operation Excellence... they are not doing any of the industry best practices to improve operations - in fact their "strategy" seems to be to do the opposite!

For example, there is a whole disciple around how you go about making organizational change including communicating the desired change, involving key stakeholders, getting buy-in.

Now the FB way is to keep everything secret, fire the stakeholders and expect whoever is left to just "figure it out"

You already know the answer to the question.

In the future, all team members for your product will work out of the same room. If you do not move to that room you will be replaced. This is a change from the go-to-any-office policy. Now it will be a go-to-a-specific-office policy.

I assume they will start with two rooms, one in the US and the other in India. But maybe that will change to be one room in India.

Your next question will be 'how much time do I have?' and I do not have the answer to that question.

Your manager is a yes person because that’s what it means to be a manager. They don’t care about you in relation to themselves, and can be expected to string you along as a means of sustaining productivity in order to prolong their station . Pay attention to what’s going on around you and in various sectors of the economy rather than trust in someone who’s not a loved one. Hedge against their potential duplicity by starting to look for another job as a contingency. Since Frank became the man, the firm is notorious for bad-faith business tactics. Wise up!
