Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

TR needs to deal with the real problems

Also it needs to deal with these problems in the right way, because now instead of really analyzing issues and trying to fix them, our leadership allows these problems to become bigger while they deal with some minor matters. Just my 2 cents.

Employees need to deal with the real problems that management created. It is us who are most affected by their ignorance and bad decisions. Ehhh once I leave never ever TR ...really toxic environment. Sneaky managers who play all the time games , so you could leave before the layoffs will start again ...disgusting

Good news is allegedly the bosses will be in the office 3 days a week. Goodie for them.

TR no longer needs talent, all products are created by experts already; many available trainings on the University platform for customers etc. etc. ,they will just need a few to maintain the old product...if there will be any left - future job in TR will be to "press the button and that is all" , no need for talent anymore. TR future career will be tailored to people who do not like to think much,to be creative, ambitious :) ...that is the result of current management style in the company. But will they survive on the market ? Nope, 5 more years and they will be taken down by most of the competitors.

First the should change management or provide them some training on how to be a good leaders not bosses 😉 they create very stressful environment instead to support they just want employees to feel scared of them.
