I am barely doing work at 20-30% productivity these days, ever since Geoff fired my manager on Tuesday. I am sick and tired of dealing with all his changes and reorgs over the last 4 years.
I thought about it a lot, and I realized I don’t really want to work under Geoff anymore
Is there any way I can ask to get laid off? At this point I would rather take a 1-2 month break using my severance and start looking for jobs and probably save someone who really needs their job.
So my questions is. Who should I talk to? My current manager? Or HR? Are there more rounds expected in US ?
