New requirement for Ga workers. They must work in the office 4 days per week.
This is a First Data carryover policy. First Data is anti work from home. Fiserv had always had a WFH culture. And this is a way to reduce head count because workers who have been remote workers are not going to go into the office to satisfy some executives personal taste regarding working in the office.

It isn’t OFD, it is FrankServ that is the issue. He has destroyed FD and FS
Also the office has the cr-ppiest equipment. HD monitors, in 2023, seriously, even there are two, still display half of the content of a single 4K monitor at home! You know how painful this is when you have to code and work on large spreadsheets. The keyboard and mouse are the cheapest they could find in the part bin. The keys stick when you type fast! Any news on layoffs? I really want to take severance and leave this place.
Original Fiserv here. I sit with a lot of original First Data people. Nicest people I've met. It's not a First Data versus Fiserv thing. The surprising thing is leadership has two years of work from home Data and knows we got more work done at home. Now we have to commute to an office and work. The amount of work goes down. Leadership signs off on it though. Tjlhe quest I on is why leadership signed off on back to tje office knowing less work would get done.
As somebody coming from the OFD side and being around for decades, I can say First Data is not the problem. Life was great and then Frank came along and changed everything. Give credit where it is due.
And Thanks for bringing this cr-p over to Fiserv :)
So what happens if you do not have an office near you or your original home office was closed years ago?
