I worked for Follet for 10 years. I escaped a few years ago when I saw things headed in this direction, and I am so happy I did. I work for a company now that has received awards for employee satisfaction. This difference is incredible. They value employee feedback and take action on suggestions submitted. They provide "thank you" lunches frequently, and provide clothing so often I had to make a separate section in my closet for it! My advice is DO NOT SETTLE for being treated the Follett treats you. There are actually companies out there who will appreciate your work...and will show you that they do.

The CEO at my new company came to visit and knew who I was. I worked for Follett 10 years and never met a CEO. I worked less than an hour from Follett headquarters and half a country from my new home office.
Lol I love how home office employees think that downvoting comments actually works. Lol... but this is totally on brand for them!
With unemployment so low and staffing shortages most everywhere this is a bad time for companies to kick their employees in the chin. It is never good to work for abusive employers, however, if you do, it means you must lack self-confidence or feel you don’t have marketable work skills.
I agree with this so much. There are so many amazing places out there, I left a few months ago and it was the best decision of my LIFE. It gets better people!
How bizarre that everything that makes Follett look bad is given the thumbs down.
It's almost as if someone is monitoring this site!!
😂😉
Still doesn't alter the facts though, and you can 👎👎👎 this all you like...
Follett/JRC suck!!
You
I worked for them 17 yrs and saw the writing on the wall about a year ago, but when they told me they have no hours for anyone expect full time management for the month of February and didn't know what March held I turned in my keys. I feel so much better and yes there are jobs out there that treat you so much better.
