What does barking orders and being demanding do? Un Motivates leaders!! When you demand things in a threatening way and loose your team than you begin to micro manage. You have no clue on how to get the leaders back so your only outlet is to try to be stern with everyone and maybe, just maybe you get 2 managers that the fire is lit but the rest are too far gone because you are not a leader!!

I vote no confidence in any individual higher than a store manager.. district managers and above.
I believe it’s skill vs will in my district manager motivating and helping all his stores to be better, achieve quotas and make the most money possible. Didn’t know demanding and barking orders is the prerequisite of becoming a district manager.
