Some folks on here are acting like this is any different from before when retail, indirect and yes, even customer service got the RIFs. No one sees it coming, even though the writing is on the wall. The metrics are better for offshore agents, higher RIS, higher value, higher 3day, 7 day and 2hr. It makes sense. Now, I hate anyone is losing their jobs, but you lot are not anything special compared to those that went before you in indirect, and those that went before them in retail, and those that went before them in CS previously. And yes, all the past RIFs have included managers, senior managers, even directors. This is no different, except it impacts you. Face the writing on the wall…. You well well paid, but in general didn’t get the results needed to stay well paid, so we will pay someone else decidedly less to take that job and do at least as good with it. Good luck out there.

Oh the boss is apparently needed to scold their reps for bs metrics and make sure that morale stays low and make sure your quoting customers with terrible products like 5G internet, and add-on insurance and pull through items etc. The boss is there to drink the Kool aid because if not them then who would? Sales reps? Hahaha right.
