Are job levels attached to your title or something else? Can you only go from a day Level 8 to a Level 9 (or 10 to 11, or whatever) by being promoted or do you have to apply for another position?

Chances are you will make far more by switching jobs now over waiting out tuition reimbursement. I don't understand how a few grand keeps people hooked. Most people that have any marketability make >%20 by leaving Fiserv. Don't let the news about jobs scare you.
@skz 100% agreed. I’m stuck for at least 12mo (tuition reimbursement), trying to see how much growth I can do internally while “under contract”
I don’t have the exact answer for you but there is a cap on how much of a jump an internal candidate can make when going from one position to another. Like the majority of companies out there, external hires will receive better salaries than internal hires.
