If you were impacted, I know this is a scary time and I can only hope that your friends, family and professional network are supportive. Don’t be ashamed to lean on them!

If you were one of the “lucky” ones who is reading this whilst having a job, consider the gravity of what just happened (and will happen again). You pour your blood, sweat and tears into Oracle but even the most dedicated and loyal are names on a cyclical and never-ending spreadsheet.

I survived the big round in 2022 but took it as a sign to jump ship and found something so much better. I know it seems like a platitude, but if you were affected, Oracle did you favor from a long-term perspective

What RIF though? some restructuring and some people let go. But this is not the same as last years "RIF". We were informed yesterday that there is restructuring but no job losses happening in our dept.

They are who they are because they promote others like them. If you’re honest, work hard and care about people then. It is unfortunate that you don’t chance at Oracle.

However, this a new day in a very different time so, that this message as your ticket to lie, cheat and steal. Because employee abuse is going to be dealt with and this summer you have be hearing and reading about a certain person at Oracle that made bad choices.

He will get what is coming to him. It will set an example for the others like him that will probably get away with doing the same. He will not. He will pay for his choices because he is the only one that we have proof of misconduct.

This is the least fun most process driven sales organization I’ve ever been involved in. The people here are downtrodden and i think the culture can not be fixed. You’re always a number on a spreadsheet but here you feel it and frankly these are the least fun or creative people I’ve ever been around.
