I was on a performance plan and notified of the layoffs and that I wouldn’t be able to reapply for the 3 new positions. Confused as to why I haven’t been given an end date yet.. just business as usual

Maybe you wouldn't be on a performance writeup if you READ THE FAQ's for stuff... Esp this which will greatly impact you.
I don't even work at vzw any longer (vsp 2018/2019) and I know the answer to your question.
Answer: you will lose your job, and they will tell you the date on 6/23.
If you’re in care you’ll find out 6/23 what your off payroll date is.
I was told that they are doing them in waves between August, October, and December. I don't know how truthful this is but a coworker said he was told it was in 3 waves.
6/30 end date. Off payroll 7/1.
