Oracle makes money from three segments: cloud and license; hardware; and services; each comprising a single operating segment. Oracle primarily (85%) makes money from its cloud services, providing comprehensive and integrated applications and infrastructure services delivered via cloud-based deployment models.
So if 85% of Oracle's income is cloud services, then 85% of the expenses should be cloud services. Seems like something is wrong,...that would be too much wasted expense for only 15% of total income. However, Reality is Oracle is no longer the same company.
Subscriptions maybe coming to an end, seriously. Legislators are working on Corp locking in customers, now.
Besides dumping the #1 corrupt fraudulent patent VP off at the federal penitentiary, they've got a lot more waste to sort through. Lack of accountability is catching up. It always does.
