When I left Fiserv, Sapience was the "spyware" tool of choice. I found it VERY easy to bypass by putting a heavy magnet on my keyboard, which would press three keys simultaneously (wer) and it would repeat them. Basically, it keeps the clock running. I would switch apps (Word, Outlook, Browsers, etc..) so the reports show I was in all thee different applications. They ki-led moral by treating us like garbage? I did that for over a year until I left. Fu-k 'em.

More micromanagement culture. Sapience is and has been on the computers for years. Only now that the goal is to make more revenue by firing more people id it being scrutinized. The "leadership team" has no ideas on how to lead and doesn't care that the software is flawed. Heads up their a$$es
To the person who says it doesnt work anymore... I assure you it does work and people would never go so granular to see what youre typing. They want to see WHERE you are putting your time and there are other methods to defeat the software as well that are pretty simple. I know MANY people who have defeated the software and the goal is to simply keep the clock running.
I understand the sentiment here but can you please not post such methods? It will only result in more draconian spyware and measures. People that have such methods are justified given how we are treated but it should not be advertised here because then they will try and ruin it.
I also noticed that batch files, PowerShell and putty automation sending commands was not keeping me active either. I wrote a few basic things to get logs, reports, check server health, open web pages, check for alarms etc.. This just another example of why I don't give a hoot what it reports anymore.

this type of manipulation of monitoring software is long gone.
