Hearing end of q2 for the remaining remote staff in oh to be released. Sounds like the holdouts on the move to BH are now deemed replaceable.

Former (as of a month ago) OH remote worker here! Once the email came out about forcing people to change teams to have everyone from a team in the same building, I left. I had already been looking and actually got an offer that I accepted the day that email came out. It was poetic in a way. BTW, if anyone is looking for remote work www.remoterocketship.com is where I found my new position. Also, ChatGPT is amazing at writing cover letters. Good luck out there.
Ohio is toast. The last of the deadwood leaves in Q3 actually. No new building, thanks for playing
Shilly from Ohio ride the rocket has been missing for about a year. Really miss his ramblings about best fintech ever, rocket riding, and his moving truck rolling to New Jersey.
I also miss his meanderings of how wonderful Frank is in describing Berkeley Heights. It was similar to someone telling you how wonderful a car their 72 pinto is. Those who know smile. Those who don’t will know when it blows up around them.
Poor Team CBUS OH Shilly… he is kind of missed. Probably laid off.
Or the pinto blew and he knows better now.
There have been a few positions posted for Ohio that were quietly closed without actually being filled
They've already delayed the opening of the new Ohio office by over a year, recently extended until Q4 this year. Wouldn't be surprised if they laid us all off
Is everyone in OH considered remote. Thats brutal if they do it - considering that they promised an office to open soon. Is that plan cancelled?
Speaking of Ohio, whatever happened to the Ride the Rocket guy? Choose one:
- He’s living happily ever after in New Jersey
- He’s sorry he moved to NJ and wished he listened to those who warned him
- He got fired
- He never existed
Is the OH crew in trouble?
They delayed the opening of the new office in Ohio until the end of the year. After they closed the (awful) Dublin building, a lot of people moved to locations where a daily commute would be unrealistic.
