Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

VZ Stock $35 - Terminate Hans!

This stock will likely go lower and maybe whomever is pulling the levers behind the curtain wants this to happens so that is acquired.

Hans has been the worst CEO at Verizon. Worse than Lowell.
Agree?

Verizon is down to 115.5k employees at the end of 1st qtr. But, there is just a complete focus on lowering cost at ANY cost. I have never seen morale lower. T-Mobile will our lunch...

He must have the polaroids. It's the only excuse for him not being gone. All the other executives have changed yet the problem child remains.

Why do you think Ericsson got rid of him? And the stupiid Americans hired him to run one of the best telecom companies in USA, only for him to drag it down into the ditch hole. Verizon should be run by an American!

When Hans started back in 2018 I think there were 150,000 employees (think).
Now we are at 117,000. 33,000 employee headcount gone under Hans and the stock is down over $25.
Worst CEO ever.

As Verizon terminates its employees the CEO of this top 20 Fortune 500 company is once again more concerned with worldly social justice issues that have ZERO to do with running a communications company.

Geroge Floyd never worked at Verizon but on a day when Verizon employees were losing their jobs and careers CEO Hans Vestberg's only post on social media was a remembrance of the 19 times arrested dr-g addict who served eight jail terms on various charges, including dr-g possession, theft, robbery, as--ult, and trespass.

How about thinking of your employees and their families Hans?....it's directly because of your incompetence that Verizon is in the financial peril and complete failure it is in today.

Come on Hans has made it possible for a stock buy back program way cheaper then it was back when the company stopped doing it.

Now if the company starts doing a stock buy back how much money has he saved?

Lowell is responsible for both Hans and Scampath.

Agree. It’s been 5 years of decline when you focus on ESG.
How many employees has Hans cut under his leadership?

Lowell was great. Hans ruined the company.

I don't understand the hatred towards Lowell. The company thrived when he was the CEO and he was able to articulate a vision for the company. He wasn't perfect but there is no way he would have allowed the company to fall apart on his watch. Hans on the other hand is a buffoon who has now destroyed two company's.
