Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Managers who micromanage

Managers who micromanage and create unnecessary procedures that only slow the entire process down to inflate their own value and make it seem like they are indispensable are a plague on Fiserv and should all be fired. Not laid off, outright fired. That's all I wanted to say.

worst director/vp - have seen saying this words with pride "you are under my b$$t", " no matter of what can kick out in a second". have never seen nowhere else or in any other team saying this kind of words in professional world.

Managers are used to analyze Sapience reports all day while you do the work. They are not being tracked so they have time for this type of “busy work”.

Fiserv infrastructure & products are the predecessor to the abacus. Asking for the most minor enhancement or fix is met with “That is very difficult, perhaps we can look at it during the next sprint.” And I am talking about things that were old mews in the 90s.

How would you get fresh blood when the person at the top is a zombie!

Most of CIOs and SVPs are useless in tech .. they are too legacy to run a fintech. Need fresh blood if this company want to stay ahead of market. Legacy thinking is ki-ling the moral and willingness of good people not to act and do bare minimum.. thoughts..

Companies are exploring how to harvest AIs potential vs we are still struggling with buildings , power, structure (1980s manf type of mindset)

I really hope leadership cleanup is needed at all levels.
