Why be hostile to a man's vanity project that does not harm me? Because of the man's other vanity project that do harm me.
The hostility by some of the posters on this string (and this website) is perplexing to me. Why so hostile when in the same post you say the move doesn’t matter and there’s no benefit?
I literally could not care less about this company's stock. I'm still not going to get paid more no matter how good it does.

The shorter the symbol, the bigger the company. That is why Frank wants "FI" instead "FISV". I'm sure he already tried to pay for Ford's symbol "F".
NYSE more "prestigious" than NASDAQ. Only 'tech' companies trade on the Nasdaq.

This is all just a p-e p-e measuring contest to make Frank feel important. It does not matter. It does not benefit anyone. It is because Frank's p-e p-e feels small next to Jamie's p-e p-e size.
I can't tell if it is more embarrassing or pathetic. He will lay off more employees when this doesn't make him feel important.
