Reading a lot on here about retention bonuses. Who are getting these? I know I am not. Manager told me the other day that if I left the team they would be in trouble. I don’t usually pay attention to this kind of talk as it’s typically just blah blah but if it’s really the case, what happened to mine lol? I’m guessing it’s juts core dev management that are getting them.

Same situation as previous poster.
50k in 3 month installments from 22-24.
Not a people manager very low level employee here. Got one (cash not RSUs) vests quarterly through 2024.
theres like 5 other posts about the new bonuses, theyre for business ops only bc theres no PEP cycle this year for bizops. if you didnt get an email you dont get it.
Retention bonuses? They already gave out retention RSUs months ago.
Was there a new round that went out? Any other details?

I got the same glad handed BS, and also no retention bonus.
