Is Verizon going out of business?

So many people in Verizon has no clue on what Verizon stands for and what business it is in anymore. What happened to the best brilliant minds and the network on which company relied on for decades?

No, Verizon still makes billions in profits. They just want to squeeze out a few dollars more here and there. If that means breaking a few thousand eggs, so be it.

The only way to fix this is if they put Engineers in the roles of supervisors, managers, senior managers, directors, EDs, VPs, SVPs of all departments.

Not out of buisness but they are going downhill for sure, with their bad ideas through the years it’s not the same premium cellphone company anymore . Such mistakes that have been made are …

Team comissions
Charging $30 to transfer information
Ugly job attires
Business accounts being nearly impossible to work on in store
Outsource customer service to the Philippines that causes poor customer service
List goes on …

The top talent took the VSP in 2018. Now Verlieson circles the drain.

If Cellco Verizon/Vodafone wireless technology experts before Verizon wireline buying it were still around, would they have made the difference?

All the senior leaders leaving is an indication that the house of cards is compromised. Let’s see if those left at the top can deal with the shell that’s left

This is an absolutely stupid title. Verizon is not going out of business any time in your lifetime. This is a painful period with out a doubt. But it is temporary and relates to mostly breaking even on net adds as there are around 33 million post paid consumer customers which is still #1. Things can be done but not with Hans at the helm. Yes layoffs are coming. Yes a lot of C-suite is bailing. Yes the new plans blow. Yes employees need to be refocused. Ver zon’s stupid. Our massive debt keeps anyone from buying us. We all need to focus on the customer and focus on tomorrow.

Verizon is too big to fail. I left and many of technical experts I knew also left long ago because they only recognize and promote people who talk and present well. Tech minds aren’t good at fake shows. No recognition no promotions for hardworking brilliant people…
