After years and years of working here, I got RIFed...."not performance related"...anyone negotiated a better severance package then what they give out?

I did successfully negotiate for additional months of company paid health insurance (not COBRA). If you have a health condition, they will consider extending the coverage
Thank God there are countries that can pass legislation to protect the lives of there citizens.
You kinda get what you get.. Remember no company in the US is required to give severance.. Best wishes..

They would have to hire a lot more staff to handle thousand of negotiations!
Do they give accelerated vesting of rsu for this year?
What they give out is not negotiable. It’s usually 4 wks + 1 wk for each year of service. Good luck and you will find something wayyyyy better
