We are in June 6th any updates on coming layoff. ? Im in Tempe home lending support group and it seems they are more aggressive to train more people in Manila hmmm

First Republic employees were told today 1k job layoffs. Others were offer position with Chase. Home Lending makes up the majority of the layoffs
Lol, as a person who is hiring, layoffs are happening just not at a grand scale.
Just because parts of the bank are hiring aggressively it does not mean that people will not be fired in the coming months. It is a sad truth about being employed at this bank.
I have been told, just keep my head down low, in June and July ( my source being a ED friend ).
Not sure about CIB Tech. We are still hiring pretty aggressively this year.
